Ⅰ. Introduction to Bridging Medicine Program
By combining the needs of undergraduate study of clinical medicine, the program has set up basic culture courses, introductory courses of basic medicine, introductory courses of clinical medicine, etc., aiming at helping students to understand China and Jilin University, consolidating the knowledge reserve of the students who have come to study in China as pre-college students, making a good transition and connection with undergraduate study, and cultivating the students' spirit of innovation, practical ability and good psychological quality. It will enable students to have all-round development and lay a solid foundation for entering undergraduate studies.
Ⅱ. Curriculum Structure
In accordance with the principles of “highlighting key areas, strengthening fundamentals, integrating professional relevance, combining preview and supplementary learning, and pursuing all-round development,” the program consists of compulsory courses, extensive courses, and optional courses. Ⅲ. Course-Completion
Students who have completed the courses prescribed by the university with a total credit of 17.5 and meet other relevant regulations of the university will be awarded the Pre-Medical Course-Completion Certificate and have the opportunity to enter the undergraduate study of Clinical Medicine in Jilin University.
Ⅴ. Application Requirements
1. Age requirement: 18-30 years old
2. In good health, meet the admission conditions of the corresponding major: No high myopia, color blindness; Normal hearing, smell and speech; Infectious diseases (hepatitis B, HIV, tuberculosis, etc.), chronic diseases and other diseases that affect the completion of the study process must be completely cured before applying; People with mental illness and mental illness are not recommended to apply.
3. Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules of Jilin University.
4. Education requirements: High school graduate.
5. Keen interest in the medical field, willing to receive higher education in China.

Tuition : RMB 12000
Daxuecheng Dormitory Accommodation fee: RMB 750-1500/month
Ⅶ. Enrollment and Application Periods
Enrollment: Early April.
Course Duration: April to July.
Application Period: November to December.
The specific schedule is subject to the annual release of enrollment information.
Ⅷ. Application, Review, and Admission Process
Step 1: Submit Online Application via Jilin University International Student Application System
Applicants must submit the following materials by December 31, 2025: copy of the passport's personal information page, high school graduation certificate, academic transcript, language proficiency certificate, and Foreigner Physical Examination Form. For detailed requirements, please refer to the “List of Application Materials for International Undergraduate Students”.
Register an account on the Jilin University International Student Application System (http://apply.jlu.edu.cn), accurately fill in personal information, and click “Submit” to complete the online application. Applications with complete materials will be prioritized for the next review stage.
Step 2: Preliminary Review by the College of International Education, Jilin University
The College of International Education will conduct a detailed review of the application eligibility in accordance with the enrollment requirements, focusing on academic background, language proficiency, identity validity, and health status. It will also consult the academic training unit for a re-review.
Step 3: Re-Review and Online Interview by the Academic Training Unit of Jilin University
The academic training unit will conduct a re-review, focusing on the applicant’s academic performance, language proficiency, and comprehensive quality, and feedback the results to the College of International Education.
Step 4: Notification of Admission Results by the College of International Education, Jilin University
The College of International Education will notify applicants of the admission results.
Ⅸ. Enrollment Registration
The enrollment registration date is April 1, 2026. For specific registration requirements and precautions, please refer to the university's admission notice and the “Enrollment Registration Guidelines”.
